United Power has taken its expertise in service entrance TVSS and integrated our high performance-oriented hybrid transient suppression technology into the distribution panelboard. This combination provides the user excellent protection against high-energy transients for all branch circuits thereby eliminating the need for individual load protectors.

We position our TVSS products into the panelboard to reduce "lead length" for superior transient suppression performance. UL, in its Second Edition listing process, tested this product line and assigned a 330V clamping voltage rating on our popular 120/208 VAC system. There is no product on the market today that provides lower (better) UL clamping voltage characteristics.

Model EDP systems are manufactured in combination with all major manufacturers of panelboards including Square D, General Electric, and others. Systems are available in main breaker or main lug only configurations from 100-400 amperes in all popular voltages. Model EDP systems feature 30, 42, or 84 poles to provide the proper distribution capacity for your site.

Provide a blanket of transient protection for your entire facility by positioning United Power TVSS systems at the service entrance and at each critical distribution location.
